GETTING HERE

Bellingen is located half way between Sydney and Brisbane, nestled in lush hinterland rainforest and surrounded by soothing rivers and creeks. Our community is a short 30 minute drive south of Coffs Harbour.

VENUE

Bellingen Showgrounds is a wonderful, spacious venue located in the heart of town, adjacent to the mighty Bellingen River. Camping is available on-site offering good facilities. You can book camping here.

River Sounds is an all weather event. Our outdoor stages are covered, the electronic stage is indoors, and there are large marquees in the bar and food areas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

River Sounds takes place on Saturday April 5, 2025 at the Bellingen Showgrounds. Gates open at 10.45am, closing at 11.00pm.

River Sound tickets go on sale Friday December 6, 2024. We offer 3 ticket releases: Early Bird, 2nd Release, and Final Release. River Sounds has limted capacity. We strongly recomend you to purchase tickets early to avoid missing out. Buy tickets here

Yes, River Sounds welcomes all ages. Ticket holders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

No. River Sounds is a licenced event and offers a range of food options. BYO alcohol and food is not permitted.

Yes. Limited car parking is available at the rear of the Bellingen Showgrounds, via Black Street. Camping is not permitted in the designated festival parking area.

Bellingen Showgrounds is located in a residential area. Please drive sensisbly and show consideration to the locals when entering and leaving the festival site.

Yes. The Bellingen Showground and the River Sounds site plan has been designed to accomodate all patrons. The site is level with good walking paths. Dedicated disabled toilets are available. Disability parking spaces are allocated at the entrance to the event. The food precinct and bar is spacious and service is quick and comfortable due to limiting the number of attendees.
